Page 1 - Making a new document



Create a new image 690 (w) x 200 (h). Place the altered image onto it and reposition/resize until you are happy with what it looks like.


Find an image of the game that you would like to use for the background and apply the following settings through the "Image>Adjustments" Menu


Now that your done with your basic background move on to the next step!

Hi,
It all works fine, but the last step, when i click gradient tool and use it on the layer mask the entire font just becomes a bit lighter, i guess its something with the gradient color, but honestly i have no idea. Everything else is great, and your Battlefield 2142 header is awesome!
Btw. did you add any shadows or glows to the vertical lines which u get by brushing it, because in your header they look thicker than in mine.

Glad you liked it! ;) And no i didt add any shadow or any other effects on it, just like i explaind it in the tutorial, you should try to experiment alittle with it to make it your own styel! ;)
