10. Now for the footer, and again another great reason you saved the style you made for the navigation, for the top (fatter) footer bar we made all you need to do to this is add the same style we saved previously and this time make the opacity a little lower maybe, you only need a very faint gradient, nothing too strong. Saving the style we made has saved us time, and it does work with everything we have used it for, however feel free to experiment with different gradients for each section. You may want to make your footer a little darker / lighter at this point.

Now all you need to do is to add some information to your footer, starting with your name, you can just Duplicate the layer you made in your header and put it in the footer, then add things such as the Copyright and Links to pages on your site, this is particularly handy if you have a very tall site as we do. I have added a gradient (as we added on the navigation just the other way round) and a line (the same way we also added that to our navigation) to the footer to make it look like this:



For the footer i always think its a good idea to keep your fonts simple and easy to read, a nice Arial or Tahoma would do just fine, at around 9 - 12 pixels high.
